Ingredients
- 1 lb ground bison
- 2 medium sweet potatoes, diced
- 1 cup chopped collard greens
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp calcium carbonate
- 200 IU vitamin E
- 500 mg glucosamine sulfate
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Brown ground bison in a large pot over medium-high heat. Drain any excess liquid (bison is very lean).
- Add diced sweet potatoes and 1.5 cups water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Add collard greens and cook for 5 more minutes until tender.
- Remove from heat. Stir in coconut oil, calcium carbonate, vitamin E, and glucosamine.
- Cool completely. Portion into daily servings. Refrigerate up to 5 days or freeze up to 3 months.
