- 1/4 tsp calcium carbonate
- 100 IU vitamin E
Step-by-Step Instructions

💊 Required Supplements
Per daily serving (1/4 cup for 10lb cat): 1/4 tsp taurine powder (critical — cats cannot synthesize taurine), 1/4 tsp calcium carbonate, 100 IU vitamin E. Cats have specific nutritional requirements including preformed vitamin A and arachidonic acid, which liver naturally provides.
Nutritional Analysis
Approximately 180 kcal per 1/4 cup. Protein ~50% DM, Fat ~22% DM, Carbohydrates ~5% DM, Fiber ~1% DM. Naturally rich in taurine (supplemented for safety), preformed vitamin A from liver, and arachidonic acid. Formulated to meet AAFCO cat food nutrient profiles for adult maintenance.
🧊 Safety & Storage
Refrigerate up to 5 days or freeze in ice cube trays for easy single servings. Thaw in refrigerator. Serve at room temperature — cats prefer food around 70°F. Discard uneaten food after 1 hour. Always provide fresh water.
⚠️ Recipe Drift Warning
Taurine supplementation is NON-NEGOTIABLE for cats. Without adequate taurine, cats develop dilated cardiomyopathy and retinal degeneration. Liver provides preformed vitamin A (cats cannot convert beta-carotene). Do not substitute chicken with fish without recalculating taurine needs.
