Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb chicken thighs, skin removed
  • 1/2 lb cod fillet
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp cod liver oil
  • 1/4 tsp taurine powder
  • 1/4 tsp calcium carbonate
  • 100 IU vitamin E

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Place chicken thighs and cod in a pot with water. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes until both are cooked through.
  2. Reserve 2 tbsp cooking liquid. Let cool slightly.
  3. Remove any bones from cod and chicken. Place in a food processor with reserved liquid.
  4. Blend until smooth. Add cod liver oil, taurine, calcium carbonate, and vitamin E. Blend again.
  5. Portion into daily servings. Refrigerate up to 4 days or freeze up to 2 months.
