This recipe is calcium-deficient and requires supplementation. Add 1/4 teaspoon of ground eggshell powder OR 1200mg calcium carbonate per batch to achieve a proper calcium:phosphorus ratio of approximately 1.1:1. The recipe is high in phosphorus due to fish content; ensure your cat has adequate hydration. Not suitable for cats with kidney disease due to phosphorus levels. Consult your veterinarian before feeding as a complete diet long-term.

🧊 Safety & Storage

Refrigerate unused portions immediately in airtight containers. Discard any food left out for more than 1 hour. Thaw frozen portions overnight in the refrigerator, never at room temperature. Always use fresh ingredients and check cans for dents or damage before opening.

⚠️ Recipe Drift Warning

Do not substitute tuna with albacore (higher mercury). Do not replace sardines with anchovies (excessive sodium). Pumpkin puree must be plain, not spiced pie filling. Egg whites must be cooked; raw egg whites contain avidin which blocks biotin absorption.
