🧊 Safety & Storage
Refrigerate in airtight containers for up to 4 days or freeze individual portions for up to 3 months. Thaw frozen portions overnight in the refrigerator. Always serve at room temperature, never hot. Wash hands and all surfaces after handling raw salmon. Discard any food left out for more than 2 hours.
⚠️ Recipe Drift Warning
Do not substitute salmon with raw or smoked salmon due to parasite and sodium risks. Avoid replacing sweet potato with white potato (nightshade sensitivity in some dogs). Do not omit calcium supplementation—this recipe is calcium-deficient without it. Never use onion, garlic, grapes, or xylitol-containing ingredients as these are toxic to dogs.
