🧊 Safety & Storage
Refrigerate in airtight containers for up to 4 days. Freeze individual portions in ice cube trays or small containers for up to 3 months. Thaw frozen portions in the refrigerator overnight, never at room temperature. Always serve at room temperature or slightly warm. Wash hands and all surfaces thoroughly after handling raw meat. Discard any uneaten food after 2 hours at room temperature.
⚠️ Recipe Drift Warning
Do NOT substitute ground turkey with ground beef (alters fat and iron ratios) or use raw eggshell without proper grinding (choking hazard). Avoid onion, garlic, grapes, raisins, macadamia nuts, and xylitol-containing ingredients as these are toxic to dogs. Do not replace fish oil with cod liver oil (excess vitamin A and D). Substituting rice with potato changes carbohydrate and calorie density. Any ingredient changes require recalculation of calcium:phosphorus ratio.
