🧊 Safety & Storage
Store in airtight containers in refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze individual portions for up to 2 months. Thaw frozen portions overnight in refrigerator, never at room temperature. Always serve at room temperature or slightly warmed. Discard any food left out for more than 30 minutes. Wash all preparation surfaces and utensils with hot soapy water. Consult your veterinarian before starting any homemade diet, especially for kittens under 8 weeks.
⚠️ Recipe Drift Warning
Do not substitute liver with other organ meats without adjusting vitamin A levels. Avoid using dog-specific supplements as they lack taurine essential for cats. Never add onion, garlic, grapes, or xylitol. Do not replace salmon oil with plant-based oils as cats require animal-sourced omega-3s. Substituting chicken with fish exclusively can cause thiamine deficiency.
