Monitor your dog's weight and adjust portions as needed.
⚠️ Recipe Drift Warning
Do not substitute pumpkin with pumpkin pie filling, which contains toxic spices and excessive sugar. Avoid replacing beef with fattier cuts as this can cause digestive upset in seniors. Do not use onion or garlic in any quantity, as these are toxic to dogs. Substituting rice with other grains may alter the digestibility and glycemic index, potentially affecting blood sugar levels in senior dogs. Always consult your veterinarian before making significant ingredient changes.
